READING, Pa. – The Reading Fightin Phils will sport an updated look when they take to the field for their 50th season of baseball in 2016.
To celebrate the team’s longest affiliation in baseball, the Fightins will wear a special “50 seasons in Reading” jersey at select games in front of the home fans at FirstEnergy Stadium. The jersey will feature photos and memories of the 50 greatest players since the affiliation began in 1967.
The Fightins will also wear a gray uniform with “Reading” across the front in a new, navy feathered font on a gray faux-flannel pattern. The jersey also features the Fightins’ “F-fist” logo on the left sleeve.
